The book is a project that I have worked on and off on for nearly five or six years. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sure to share excerpts from the novel. Until then, her is the marketing blurb.
Paula Braun and Henry Moore are on their way to Germany to settle some personal matters. Once finished, they plan to return to the United States, get married, retire, and live a quiet, non-eventful life. But fate has other plans. Shortly after landing in Germany, they realize that unknown operatives are on their heels and they are desperate to find out who is following them and why. Is it Henry’s past catching up with him?
Henry Moore is a quiet security consultant on the verge of finishing an illustrious career. He keeps his work separate from his private life. Paula knows little about what he does. When they met many years earlier, during the Cold War, circumstances pulled them apart and they went their own separate ways. With the help of social media and the Internet, they were able to find each other many years later and reconnect. But just when Paula thought they could settle down to a life of leisure and retirement, their visit to Germany leads to harrowing escapes and disturbing revelations about her fiancée. He isn’t who he seems to be.
Henry, on the other hand, is dogged in his determination to find why he and his fiancée are being followed; and who is behind it. Through his investigative work he finds out that he may not be the person of interest, after all. It may be his fiancée, Paula Braun. What secrets could Paula’s past life reveal that may explain why she and Henry are in such grave danger?
Thrilling Action
Paula and Henry’s lives are in danger. In their quest to find out who is behind this twisted plot, they must travel to three continents to uncover clues leading to the identity of those following them and a shocking revelation about Paula’s past that had its origin in Nazi Germany, within the Third Reich.
